1. Who operates the service

2. What the service is

Olector provides a catalogue of collectible artefacts, tools for keeping your own collection, a comparison of dealer offers, and a place where users can present their items and get in touch about acquiring them.

The service is not a shop and is not a party to transactions concluded between users. It does not handle payments, does not accept orders and is not responsible for the performance of contracts made by users.

3. Accounts

• Creating an account is voluntary and free. Browsing the catalogue requires no account.
• You can register directly or through an external identity provider (Google, Facebook, Reddit).
• Details given at registration should be truthful. An account is personal and must not be shared.
• You may have your account deleted at any time by contacting support.

4. User content

By publishing a description, photograph or offer you confirm that you are entitled to do so. Unlawful or misleading content, content infringing the rights of others, and offers of items whose trade is prohibited or requires permits you do not hold, are not allowed.

Report unlawful content to support@olector.com. We may remove content that breaches these terms or the law, and suspend the account.

5. Firearms

In the firearms area the service provides a catalogue, a comparison of dealer offers, and the ability for a user to list an item of their own. It does not sell, does not act as an intermediary and is not a party to any transaction — including those concluded directly between users.

Trade in firearms is regulated by law; in Poland by the Firearms and Ammunition Act of 21 May 1999. Transferring a firearm to a person not authorised to possess it is prohibited. Verifying the other party's authorisation, completing all formalities and making any required notifications rests solely with the seller and the buyer, and different categories of firearm are subject to different requirements.

6. Prices, spot rates and valuations

Dealer prices and metal spot rates come from external sources, are provided for information and may be out of date. Collection valuations are estimates based on the spot price. None of this information constitutes a commercial offer or investment advice.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability — maintenance breaks are sometimes necessary. These terms may change; we will announce significant changes in the service in advance.
