Catalogue

Patterns of pieces — what a given coin is, regardless of who owns it

The catalogue describes types, not individual items. One entry is a pattern — a particular year, metal and weight — shared by every piece ever struck. Here you check what a piece is; who holds it and at what price is found in the showcase and the market.

Finding your way

The catalogue and your collection

When you add a piece to your treasury, you point to a catalogue entry — that is how the system knows how much metal your item contains and how to price it. Shared data such as weight or fineness comes from the catalogue; whatever belongs to your copy alone — purchase price, condition, photographs — is recorded with it.
