Packages

A package is a single offer covering more than one piece. The seller has gathered several items into one listing and puts them up together — you buy the whole set, not a single entry out of it.

This list shows only such offers. A single piece put up by a collector belongs to the offer list of a particular artefact, where it stands next to shop offers and lets you compare prices of the same piece.

What a package tells you

• Sale value The sum of all entries, converted to your currency. For an auction you see the current bid instead.
• Transaction type Buy now at a fixed price, or an auction — a package is listed in one mode for its entire contents.
• Number of entries How many pieces the set holds. The full contents with unit prices are listed in the table on the offer page.
• Location If the seller has revealed it — it weighs more than usual here, as it covers handing over every piece at once.

How to browse

• Narrow by category. The list works within the category you are in, together with its subcategories. A package appears in a category when at least one of its entries belongs there — a set may well mix gold with silver.
• Search by phrase. The search bar looks through the package title given by the seller, not the names of the individual pieces.
• You arrived from an offer page. The button that shows a package on the market narrows this list to one set — remove the parameter from the address to see them all again.

Before you buy

• A set is bought whole. Entries of a package cannot be acquired separately. If you want one particular piece, check whether it also has an offer of its own — the artefact page leads there.
• Work out the unit price. The contents table gives the price of every piece; only that shows whether the set beats buying one by one.
• Ask the seller. With a package it pays to settle how the pieces change hands and how they are packed — several items ship differently than one.
